PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT
Nancy Molitz, B. Mus., M.A., RMFT.
Dedicated to artist’s health and success, Nancy Molitz has extensive training and experience in the field of performance edge and enhancement. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music with the coveted Performers Certificate in French Horn, her work as a therapist, coach and teacher integrates philosophy of human potential and performance enhancement psychology. She is a psychotherapist in private practice and an Associate at the Institute of Family Living in Toronto, holding a Masters Degree from the University of Ottawa in psychotherapy and counseling. Early in her concert career, Nancy pursued extensive training in Classical Yoga and received Certification as Instructor from one of the world’s leading authorities contributing to the emerging interdisciplinary field of the mind-body connection in the development of human potential. Building on her experience as a concert artist and already an accomplished therapist, Nancy has received training in performance enhancement through seminars with the highly recognized coaches Foster, Steeles and Grand. Using integrated approaches of performance enhancement, body work and mindfulness practices, she is devoted to helping performers manage the demands of artistic discipline and the whole range of inherent professional issues.
While Nancy is an outstanding mentor and coach for artists and performers through a foundation in artistic discipline, she has extensive experience of over 35 years working with people in all walks of life whose life and daily tasks involve living on a fine edge. Moreover her success mentoring in the performance enhancement field covers a wide range of professions , including medicine, academia, business and sales, ministry, public service and government, journalism , all the visual arts and writng, film and media and sports. People in high level competitive sports have received a wide range of performance enhancement training, particularly as it has developed in the last decade.
The purpose of the workshop is to coach artists, performers, and people of all professions in integrated tools for performance edge, using interdisciplinary approaches that enhance already well-established talents and abilities inherent in artistic discipline. Benefits of such holistic practices include managing personal and professional stressors and performance anxiety, as well as helping maintain health and work/life balance and fulfillment. Highly experienced and accomplished in her study, practice, and teaching, Nancy is dedicated to helping people work and live at their best.
